Liz Misiti - Owner and Client Care Manager

Liz Misiti – Co-Owner

Liz Misiti is the Client Care Manager at Home Care Assistance Arvada, providing day-to-day operational leadership. She enjoys meeting with clients and getting to know them and their families. Liz provides personal caregiving from time-to-time and is involved in ensuring that the company continues to raise the bar in providing the best in class when it comes to in-home care senior services. Liz says, “The Balanced Care Method far exceeds the ‘just watch TV with clients’ approach that a lot of other agencies employ.
We are committed to keeping our clients engaged and living life to the fullest. There’s a real opportunity to help people live an active, meaningful life. Most seniors prefer to stay in their homes and we provide them with the assistance that enables them to do so.”
Liz has a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University (LSU), and has enjoyed working with seniors in the past. She enjoys spending time with her husband, A.J., and their five kids, participating in her local church and living in Colorado.

A. J. Misiti – Co-Owner

A. J. Misiti oversees the marketing and business development functions at Home Care Assistance Arvada and assists co-owner, Liz Misiti, with day-to-day operations. His experience caring for older adults combined with his enthusiasm for meeting and helping others make him a great asset to the Colorado senior care community. A.J. graduated with a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech and previously worked in the heavy industries technology field. His most recent roles involved senior leadership positions in the oil & gas industry. “While my previous career was fulfilling, I have been called to this profession. That calling makes a great difference in how you approach your clients and associates.”
A.J. lives in Arvada with his wife Liz and their five children. He is active in his church and enjoys outdoor activities. “Coloradans understand the importance of a balance between a healthy body, mind and spirit. At Home Care Assistance, we bring that to bear through our Balanced Care Method™ approach to client care. It fits hand-in-glove.”


Mikki Stewart, CNA - Employee Care Manager

Mikki Stewart, CNA – Employee Care Manager

Mikki Stewart, CNA, is the Employee Care Manager for Home Care Assistance. Mikki brings many years of experience in senior care across a wide range including hospice, home health, and home care (both HCBS and private pay). We are very selective in our hiring process at Home Care Assistance, hiring only about 1 of 25 caregivers who apply. Mikki drives our caregiver recruiting, hiring, training, management, and career development processes to ensure these high standards are upheld.

Mikki’s passion for those we serve is strong – “I am a firm believer and advocate for a client’s right of choice to stay in their home as long as possible.”

Mikki lives in Westminster with her three daughters. When she isn’t caring for her loved ones, her three dogs and two cats, or caring for our clients’ families and their loved ones, Mikki enjoys biking, hiking, good local music, and the performing arts.
